They are done in two visits. In the first visit, Dr. Sands will prepare the teeth by gently removing a very thin amount of enamel, to make space for the veneers. He will then measure and record their exact dimensions, making a mold of your teeth for the dental laboratory. In the second visit, he will test your new porcelain veneers for fit and comfort, and when you and he are both satisfied, he will bond them permanently to the teeth. They are now a part of those teeth, giving you a straight, even smile. You will have consistency in color and shape, and a comfortable bite – a beautiful smile that will last for years to come.
